Soildiag combines image recognition to identify your plants and different analysis methods to determine the nature of your soil from the plants that naturally grow in it or the visual analysis of the soil.

Soildiag is the ideal tool for farmers, agricultural technicians, botanists, researchers, well-informed gardeners or simply curious who need quick informations about a plant or the nature of a soil.

IDENTIFY YOUR PLANTS
By taking a simple photo and thanks to PlantNet database, Soildiag identifies your plant and gives you some additional informations about it (photos, description, taxonomy, scientific names, common names, synonyms, links to external databases, etc.). Soildiag also gives you the bioindication characteristics of the recognized plants.

ANALYZE YOUR SOILS
Soildiag offers two types of diagnostics:
• Analysis using bio-indicator plants:
After identification of one or more plants, Soildiag generates a soil analysis detailed report. For the report to be meaningful, it is recommended to have at least four bioindicator plants in your parcel. Youll then get indicators like biological activity level, pH, organic matter levels (total, carbonaceous, nitrogenous), pollution levels, etc.
• The spade test:
After extracting a block of soil with a simple spade, follow the notation guide included in the application to define a classification of the assembly porosity of your clods as well as their internal porosity. Then, record the different layers in order to document their evolution over time.

TRACK YOUR SOILS PROGRESS
Soildiag was created to be your farming activity companion. It will allow you to follow the progress of your soils for each of your plots. You can create plots, and for each plots, you can assign them diagnostics. Each diagnostics is timestamped so you can keep track of your soil evolution history.
